Made of porous stainless steel and a 316L steel plate, the Matrix Shower Screen is composed of tens of thousands of holes as small as 4-5μ. This technology acts as a pressure damper, similar to a filter or gicleur, that minimizes the creation of channeling by offering water thousands of possible routes to travel through.
Additionally, because the shower’s holes are microscopic, they pressurize the water as it travels through and turns some of the oxygen molecules into carbon dioxide. This forms micro-bubbles that make their way into the coffee brew, and turns the coffee’s fats and fibers into a thicker crema and full body feel, dropping the acidity significantly.
The Matrix Shower Screen fits on all E61 group heads, is compatible with Bezzera, ECM Expobar, and Rocket machines, and works to assure consistent extractions with sturdy crema. ">
