The Ceado E37J is a compact, programmable grinder that delivers single and double shots at the press of a button. Its stepless adjustment and doserless design make this powerful 64mm burr grinder an excellent counterpart to any home barista’s prosumer espresso machine.
The smallest offering in Ceado’s E37 series, the E37J rounds out the line with its compact stature, without losing the great features expected of the E37 grinders. This doserless grinder is stepless, for infinite grind adjustment when you push or pull the lever on the collar. Inside, a super quiet 300 watt motor is mechanically suspended on rubber mounts. With its powerful motor and 64mm burrs, grinds are dispensed at a rate of 1.7 grams per second. This is a great rule of thumb to keep in mind when programming single and double shot doses, which you can later press to dispense a perfectly timed shot on-demand. Grounds are kept clump free by a little flap integrated into the coffee chute, which is very effective at breaking them up so that grounds dispense evenly into the middle of your portafilter each time you grind. Manual grinding is easily done by pressing the portafilter into the grind button and holding it until the desired amount of grounds is reached. For hands free grinding, the E37J will hold on to your portafilter while grinding so you don’t have to. The J lives up to the hype of the rest of the line, and it’s perfect for a home setting.

This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. So, if your E37J is dialed in already, you can literally lift the burrs apart for cleaning, screw them back together, and grind a great shot right away without any adjustment necessary. Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr System is a true innovation. It keeps the burrs locked into place at a designated distance apart, regardless of use, which ensures consistent grounds and simply doesn’t allow the burrs to fall out of calibration.

The E37J utilizes Ceado’s Quick Set Revolution stepless adjustment functionality. Making small changes to the position of the adjustment lever slides the burrs closer or further apart for what is essentially infinite fine tuning of your grind.

The E37J’s mechanically suspended motor is encased in a shell and rests on rubber mounts to allow the machine to function 30% quieter than its peers. This 300 watt rectified motor is designed to minimize thermal expansion during the grinding process.
